Below the Board of Trustee is the Executive management team of the Institute which is supervised by the Executive Director under whom there are four directorates and seven units that report directly to the Executive Director.

These includes:

• Director of Medical and Allied Health Science Services,
• Director of Cancer Prevention Services,
• Director of Administration and Human Resources Management, and
• Director of Technical Services.

The units are Academic,

• Research and Consultancy Unit,
• Health Insurance Clinic Unit,
• Planning Unit,
• Internal Audit Unit,
• Legal Unit,
• Finance and Account Unit, and
• Procurement Management Unit.

The executive management team convenes once each month for an executive meeting which set a tone and agenda of implementing the activities important to run the Institute.
